I went to the Department of Motor Vehicles yesterday and took my driver's license road test. So yeh... I finally got my license! Hurray! The picture for my license even came out decent too! Double hurray! But then it started raining right after I finished my road test. Lucky me! Either way, it was a very accomplishing experience~

Then I went to Bennigan's and enjoyed dinner with raven and David. Let's just say a John Bacon Burger never tasted so good. YUM!

Scheduling for my classes went okay last Wednesday, and my scheduling adviser was very helpful. I love the style of the art building at UL, and the teachers there seem so friendly. The only thing I didn't like hearing that I'm going to need a Mac laptop by my sophomore year... Nothing against Mac users, I just never owned a Mac before, much less even touched one. =|

In other news, I've been helping my parents paint the extension since Sunday. It's quite the experience since I went on the roof for the first time! XD Though it's really hot/humid outside, the mosquitoes are the only thing I complain about.

I also saw Kung Fu Panda with K-Chan Sunday and it was a really cute movie. I even ran into a few of my friends that work at the movie theater! It was really great to see Nick, Forrest, and Dover again!

But yeh... I'm also getting a new haircut tomorrow! After watching a few Metal Gear Solid videos, I fell in love with Laughing Octopus's (aka Lyndall Jarvis's) haircut~ I think I'm even going to get highlights too! Ahahaha~ I'm just so eager about my haircut tomorrow! <3

Now I'm gonna be heading to bed, I have a lot to do tomorrow!

Day one of orientation was exhausting... I'm little annoyed that today seemed like a manditory BS day but I'm just happy it's over. Tomorrow is scheduling and I already have one planned out. I'm glad I thought ahead and did that Monday because I'm so tired.

I'm kind of upset that orientation happened to be on my mom's day off too. It feels as it wasn't a day off at all since I only saw her in the morning and afternoon.

I think I'm going to bring fruit instead of eating in the cafeteria at UL when Fall Semester comes around. The saying goes a freshman will 15 pounds during their first semester. Though the cafeteria food was tasty, it is not something I would feel comfortable eating every other day. Way too greasy for my taste. Not to forget to mention, the thought of gaining 15 pounds scares me.

Edit: It also came to my attention that K-Chan is playing Phantom Hourglass... I'm guessing she went shopping with mom while I was gone? XD

Back in April, I told myself that I won't be buying anymore RPGs for a long time! Well... That was a lie because I broke in and ran to my local Gamestop to buy Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga! D: Thanks to Geoffry for giving me a ride! I started watching intro videos for some games and Digital Devil Saga was one of them. I just spent 2 hours playing it and it is sooooooooo fun~ <33333

But I had a wonderful dream lasst night and it involved being heroic. This isd really tempting me to drop Monster Hunter for a while and go to Crisis Core. That game is so good and so sad at the same time.

But speaking of games, I really want to start playing the Metal Gear Solid series with the fourth one coming out. But knowing my luck with stealth games, I would most likely suck. XD I need to make a video game to do list. =|

Okay, I'm starting to think there's some weird way that signals somehow get caught in the electronics in my house... O___O I was sitting in the computer room and my dad's speakers spoke. Before everyone goes, "That's stupid! You probably had something playing on Youtube!" Well... The computer was starting up, so that wasn't the case at all. I heard "WAH WAH WAAAAH" and it sounded like walkie talkie quality. And this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Last year around October, while I was start up Persona 3 and the opening was playing and I heard "Here kitty, kitty." If you've ever played Persona 3 or watched the opening, you would nothing like that is ever said in the opening or game. Not to forget to mention, my mom and sister heard it too! But man... It was really weird...

In other news, I got a paid account for LJ! Thanks to raven!!!! ;____; I owe you two free meals at Bennigan's! But anyway... YAY! More icons!! *throws hands in air* Not to forget to mention I should get a flashy new layout~ Maybe make me own mood theme too!?

Yesterday, I fought my first Kirin in Monster Hunter Freedom 2~ I wasn't much help though since I really don't have a sword and shield weapon so a lot of running involved. Either way, I got 1 out of 5 parts for my Kirin armor set~ <333

I also ended up buying the second Devil May Cry DVD today. It's just as cheesy as the first one. =B I still don't care for how Lady is portrayed in the anime... It seems so out-of-character compared to her in the game. Hmmm... Just one more DVD to go and series is complete!

I'm a little sad thyat two special people in my life aren't able to be here today to see me walk across the stage but atleast they'll be watching me from above. <3

Overall, I'm a little nervous right now and I'm having one of those hyper-frantic ADD moments. >_O I wasn't really nervous about it until I starting thinking about it yesterday and now I have a case of butterflies in my stomach. It's just so exciting to think that I'm about to take one big step in my life and I know it's going to be challenging from here on. Well... I have to go now! WOOSH!!!!!

It looks like I'll be attending another funeral today... Grandma Betty passed away Sunday and I didn't find out until Tuesday. I know they were trying to protect me but I'm rather pissed that hid it away from me when there were so many obvious signs. Compared to when Grandpa Nick passed away in March, I'm having an easier accepting that she's really gone. Grandma Betty just had the hardest time living without him and she wanted to be with him more than anything. So knowing she was ready to go really helps.

Yesterday I asked raven and David to come over because I had a hard time not thinking about today. Having them come over really helped giving me an optimistic boost. I even slayed my first Yian Kut Ku and Khezu by myself in Monster Hunter Freedom 2! I'm no longer a Monster Hunter noob!

But yeh, I have graduation rehearsal today after the funeral. So later.

Today was my last day of high school and it was a little sad to say goodbye to my junior friends. The whole morning seemed to be made of goodbye hugs. But the highlight of the day is the traditional Senior Paper Toss!!!! WOOHOO!!! *throws paper* I got a small video of it on my cellphone so I'll try to upload it tomorrow to share~ Very fun stuff. =D

After school, I was randomly chosen for this survey and earned $30! EASIEST THIRTY BUCKS I"VE EVER EARNED. XD

But after that, to celebrate the last day, David, raven, and I all went to see SPEED RACER! I've been looking forward to that movie since September and it was AWESOME. Who ever said the Speed Racer movie was crap is a liar!!!! I LOVED IT! This is coming from a girl who grew up on on the old Speed Racer cartoons too. It was also awesome that we were one of the few people in theater!

I also learned something from Speed Racer... GoGo Boots are perfectly fine to fight in and the laws of gravity don't apply to race car drivers! =B

That's really all I have to say without going into my super dork mode explaining thow this movie brought all the wonderful feelings I experienced with the series as a kid. So I'll just say that I'm totally going to go see this movie again with K-Chan. I have a deep feeling that she's gonna enjoy it just as much as I did~ <3

I got a call from UL three hours ago! Apparently it's official that I've been fully accpeted. YAY! I just need to schedule my classes this June and I'll be a college student this fall sememster! Double YAY! To make the news better, majority of my friends were too lazy to apply to LSU like they originally planned and decided to attend UL instead! Triple YAY!

In other news, David did his senior prank in English IV today. He had his cellphone go off, he jumped up answering it, screamed, and he ran out ripping off his shirt exposing a shirt with the Superman logo under it. It was awesome. raven and I have given him the super hero name Super Asian Man, and it's very fitting. XD But yeh... I think Mrs. Gamble was even amused. What a great way to end a wonderful class! I'm gonna miss Mrs. Gamble though, she was such a wonderful teacher.

Tomorrow: Senior Luncheon! I do like the sound of free food~ I also need to call Geoffry about helping me studying for Advanced Math Final. I'm really nervous about it and I really could need some help.

I went to prom Saturday night and it was surprisingly fun! A few people complimented my dress, and Forrest said he didn't recognize me at first. XD The music was some what disappointing, the DJ had no rock music of any kind. So we were stuck with the typical innuendo filled rap songs. A lot of girls bought wedding dresses for some stupid reason, so you really had to watch your step. But overall it was still fun and memorable. I hitched a ride home with Geoffry at the end. So yeh... A girl in my English class even said she was me Saturday and complimented me, which made me smile. Though it had flaws, prom was still fun!

Yesterday was my last real day of school before senior finals start. Ionly have to take my Advanced Math final! I was starting to worry about English IV because I wasn't too confident about the last test I took, but I guess everything was okay. I couldn't help but whisoer a "yay" when Mrs. Gamble anounced who didn't have to take it. The douche who sits in front of me turned around to highfive me because he didn't have to take it either! XD But yeh... Advanced Math final is Monday! I must be prepared!

O_O Either way, I found out why Snake and Samus are paired up by the fans so much. They practically compliment each other! XD *plots* Bwahahaha~

HEY GUYS! GUESS WHAT! SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI: PERSONA 3 FES COMES OUT TODAY!!!! *parties* Oh dude! I'm so excited! I've been waiting 2 months for this! Not to forget to mention this is like the first time EVER, a director's cut version of a Japanese RPG has been brought to the state's side! Oh Atlus, you're far too kind~ *skips through field*

But yeah~ I'm really excited about this game, Persona 3 was best RPG of 2007 in my opinion. So I'm really psyched abnout it's director's cut! I watched the rest of the preview videos and I'm really curious why Akihiko isn't in anywhere on the scene when those "timeskips" starting taking place. Those videos are teasing me~ XD

But hmmm... But I think I'm gonna wait until I get let out of school before I play FES... I really can't afford to get distracted this 6 weeks since graduation is coming up! Plus K-Chan won't be able to watch all the new footage if she's at school while I'm playing it. D: But I know how my summer is gonna be spent though~ >=3

raven got the Monster Hunter artbook yesterday and wowza~ No wonder it was sold out with pre-orders when it was first released! The artwork for the game is so beautiful! <3 You got to love detail on the armor sketches! I'm going to have to borrow it sometime when I'm low on inspiration. But yeh, I ended up playing a lot of Monster Hunter Freedom 2 with raven. I'm getting closer to getting my Kirin armor! Well... It's still a looooooooong way~ =D;;

Sometimes, when I'm sitting in my room I can hear the young adults across the street practing for their band. I like music as much as the next guy, but... No amount of practice will help them get better. =|
